New & ImprovedReliability

📣 This week at Seminode

Another solid week of shipping. Here’s what’s new and what we tightened up.

New & Improved

  • Folder view for listings — group by month, drill in, and toggle between list and folder layouts, plus a new “Published by” column and filter.
  • Better basket column management — show, hide, and reorder columns, with a dedicated date-added column and centralized navigation in the header.
  • Inbox table view adds status tabs, a right-click context menu, and a dedicated part-details drawer.
  • More configurable qualification rules, with health checks that flag when a rule’s underlying reference data changes, plus a clearer audit trail on quote decisions.
  • Quantity auto-fill from reference data mappings.
  • Re-pricing after routing — quotes can now be re-priced once they’ve already been sent for approval.
  • Expanded partner performance reporting with more detail.
  • Per-team notification preferences can now be set independently.

Reliability

  • Fixed a case where a partner’s quoted price and quantity weren’t showing up in one of the review panels.
  • Fixed manufacturer and partner logos not displaying correctly in some views.
  • Strengthened security headers across our deployed environments.
  • Fixed a data-merge edge case that could drop cost values when combining data from multiple sources.
  • Fixed reference-data uploads failing for newer teams without prior listing history.
  • Ongoing dependency and security maintenance across the platform.

📣 This week at Seminode

A steady week of workflow upgrades and reliability work across quoting, listings, and file uploads.

New & Improved

  • Filtering and sorting on reference data and listings tables by part number, internal number, site, program, and manufacturer.
  • Markup and adjusted-margin figures now appear in approval workflows alongside existing margin, with full reconciliation across approvals, inbox, and exports.
  • Automatic thread status — thread status updates as approvals progress, instead of requiring a manual change.
  • Manually added quotes — record an ad-hoc quote and have it route through the normal approval workflow, carrying the same custom fields as quotes received by email.
  • Part-level recurrence reporting shows which parts keep reappearing in RFQ activity over time, helping surface parts that aren’t resolving.
  • Reworked basket experience across inbox and RFQ, with clearer, explicit actions for sending, assigning, and removing items.
  • Editable approval pipelines — approval flow editors can add and reorder pipeline statuses on an existing flow, not just at creation.
  • Inline program context — the inbox thread table now shows program context without opening the detail view.
  • AI-assisted file cleansing — messy or non-standard files, screenshots, and pasted email text can be routed through a cleansing path alongside standard file uploads.
  • A “thinking” indicator now shows while AI features are working.
  • Restyled upload-tools tables for a more consistent look across the inbox.
  • Time of day now shows in the inbox “Updated” column alongside the date.
  • Manufacturer logos load faster and more reliably.

Reliability

  • Fixed an error affecting some team-membership lookups.
  • Fixed a selection bug on reference tables when browsing past the first page.
  • Hardened access controls across the app.
  • Fixed a reliability issue that could prevent large files from sending successfully.
  • Fixed a sync issue where an action taken on a quote wasn’t always reflected immediately in the main view.
  • Fixed a data-loading error affecting one approval column.
  • Fixed a startup error that could affect file-storage operations in some environments.
  • Fixed an error when switching teams from a detail page that no longer applied in the new team.
  • Strengthened the file-cleansing pipeline against malformed or oversized source files, with clearer failure messages and safeguards against duplicate or dropped rows.
  • Fixed a data-entry bug where fractional configuration values were being silently rounded down.
  • Fixed inconsistent logos shown in expanded quote history.
  • Fixed an issue where action dialogs could show your own previous quote instead of the partner’s latest one.

📣 This week at Seminode

A batch of workflow upgrades and reliability fixes shipped this week across listings, quotes, and approvals.

New & Improved

  • Redesigned listing creation — quick add, bulk upload, and reference data search in one flow, with clearer status indicators while uploads process and the option to add a message when creating a listing.
  • Quote comparison view now includes reference and program data for easier side-by-side evaluation.
  • Secure approver portal with one-time passcode sign-in, so approvers can review and act on requests without a full account — including per-team column mapping and CSV/XLSX export.
  • Assignment controls let team members claim specific listings and quotes, and you can filter any view down to just the items assigned to you.
  • Bulk approvals — resend approval emails and complete multi-item approvals in one step, with a full send history for auditing.
  • New analytics views and more flexible sorting options for account activity.
  • Refreshed margin calculations and more flexible pricing fields across quotes and reporting.
  • Ad hoc quote creation, plus the ability to reuse saved import mappings when bringing data in through upload tools.
  • Clearer thread history — now carries forward each side’s last price instead of mirroring one value into both columns, making negotiation history easier to follow.

Reliability

  • Fixed an issue where certain approval requests could get stuck and become impossible to complete, including during bulk actions.
  • Fixed pricing display so sub-cent unit prices show at full precision instead of being rounded away, and thread history now shows the newest activity first.
  • Fixed a quote editor that could open blank instead of pre-filling existing details, and unified the styling of quote action buttons.
  • Fixed notification preferences not saving reliably across sessions.
  • Improved reliability of file upload processing, with retry options when something goes wrong.
  • Reduced unnecessary background activity that could slow the app down during busy periods.
  • Polished animations and interface responsiveness across the app.
  • Improved reliability of team membership and access checks on the backend.
  • Hardened request handling so authenticated requests aren’t rejected due to size limits.
  • Corrected margin calculations and backfilled historical reporting data, and fixed stale pricing in account reporting metrics.
