Overview
Email templates control the content of emails sent during approval workflows. Navigate to Settings → Email Templates to manage your templates.Creating a Template
- Click Create Template
- Fill in the template details:
- Name — a descriptive name for the template
- Description — optional notes about when to use this template
- Type — currently supports “Approval Request”
- Subject — the email subject line (supports template variables)
- Body — rich text content using the built-in editor
- Optionally toggle Active and Default settings
- Click Save
Template Variables
Insert dynamic values into the subject and body using the variable selector. Variables use double-brace syntax (e.g.,{{internal_no}}). Available variables include material numbers, manufacturer names, pricing, and partner details.
Managing Templates
The templates list in Settings shows all custom and system templates. Custom templates can be edited or deleted. System templates are read-only.Only users with admin permissions can create or edit email templates.
