Overview

Access Settings from the sidebar to configure your account and organization. Settings are organized into five groups.

Account

Profile

View and manage your personal account details including your name, email, public key, and role. Toggle email notifications on or off to control whether you receive alerts for quote activity and approval requests.

Organization

Organization

Configure your organization’s name, subdomain, and email domain. Set your supply chain role (e.g., OEM, CM/EMS, Distributor) to define your position in the network — this helps Seminode tailor workflows to your company type. Admin access required.

Company

Manage your company’s public-facing profile: display name, description, website URL, and logo. Control your company’s visibility in the network — public (discoverable by all), unlisted (accessible via direct link), or private (hidden). Also view read-only identifiers like your company public key and company ID.

Team

Invite new team members by email and manage existing users. View each member’s role and assignment status. Configure assignment groups to control how incoming quotes are routed to specific team members — useful for distributing workload across buyers, sellers, or regional teams.

Features

Inbox

Customize how your Inbox displays data. Choose whether part numbers show as manufacturer part numbers or internal part numbers. Toggle visibility of approval status columns, margin calculations, and mapping titles. Configure field aggregation to combine related line items into grouped views. Admin access required.

Assistants

Personalize your AI assistant’s behavior by customizing the system prompts for buyer agents and seller agents separately. This lets you tailor AI responses to match your company’s quoting strategy, preferred language, and domain-specific knowledge. Admin access required.

Email Templates

Create and manage the email templates used when sending approval requests to partners. See Email Templates for full documentation on template creation, variables, and the rich text editor. Admin access required.

Integrations

Connectors

Connect your email providers to monitor shared inboxes for quoting activity. Supports Outlook (via Azure Graph API) and Gmail (via OAuth). Once connected, Seminode automatically processes incoming quote emails into structured inbox threads.

Mappings

Define field mappings that control how incoming data columns translate to Seminode’s standard fields. Mappings are used during data upload and when matching against reference data — ensuring consistency even when partners use different naming conventions.

API

Generate bearer tokens for programmatic access to the Seminode API. Tokens are used for direct API integration and automation.
Generating a new API token invalidates your previous token. Copy and store it securely — it cannot be retrieved after leaving the page.

Billing

Usage

Monitor your organization’s platform usage across features — including listings processed, quotes sent, and API calls made. Helps you track consumption against your plan limits.

Billing

Access the billing portal to manage your subscription plan, update payment methods, view invoices, and modify billing details.
